You can not change either your existing character or your existing world, however you can create a new world and use your existing character for it. classic, expert, and master mode are all world settings, not character settings.

Depends on your class, go farm spiders for summoner armor, any one else your best bet is going for the 3rd tier hard mode ore of the world. And making armor out of that.

You can cheese dreadnautilus with just a box and the spider staff I also suggest you set up honey and a campfire

what i did was i made a giant platform all across hell (but you dont need to cover it all if youre sure you hv e good weapons), and bring sure to space out fireplaces n heart lanterns/stars in bottles if ya need em. use ranged weapons too! id recommend that one bee bow, hell arrows (they will turn into bees if you have the bee bow), or even a star cannon. but a minishark is also good

The queen bee should be easier.. it has an easy attack pattern. Its gonna fly around sometimes slowly and shoot stingers at you and rush against you.

Skeleton will slap you with his hands and spin his head and while doing so he is moving fast against you. Prepare some space for the battle

Prepare some wood platforms for the queen bee and you need to have space to run from left to right and jump up and down to the next platform.

Make some dirt or something to cover the honey because you can get stuck in it and you get slowed down a lot

For the Skeleton you probably need like..

4 or 5 wooden platform levels and make them about 150 blocks long and also bring the nurse nearby so you can heal yourself during the fight.

Don't put the nurse in the middle of the platform or something cuz you might get stuck inthe building
