Biggest tip is to not Rush. Learn mechanics and try to make the game as convenient as possible using what u got

Build houses. Place beds. Use campfires. Take the extra effort to make it easier instead of slamming your head into a wall until it breaks

You are not limited by the game only by yourself. You can build mile long teleporters to make traveling easy. You can carry a bed in inventory to always make a quick spawn. Fishing for the cellphone to get rid of mirrors and recall potions.
