A: Normal hardcore, I completed it the day before 1.3 was released.

A: My favorite moderator is Criddle. 
I have only recently gotten into the world of Terraria mods but have enjoyed thorium and Calamity a lot!

A: Summoner hands down. I find it the most liberating class to run as the minons tend to do the work for me.
Q: What's your favorite weapon?
A: The cascade yo-yo. It became my favorite weapon when I used it to kill WOF on expert hardcore for the first time. There is just something about it that I love.
Q:What got you into Terraria?
A: Great question, I actually answered this in my intro. Jesse Cox and Total Biscuit got me into Terraria in 2011. I owe them both for getting me into this whole content creation in the first place. (amongst other creators who inspired and encouraged me.)
Q:How long do you think terraria will stay popular, until it eventually dies down?
A: 1.3.6 will set a new landmark in how popular terraria is and has become. I expect that Terraria and Relogic will continue to grow forever.
Q:why do i need weeks for moonlord, and you did it in an hour? :(
A: practice, that is the only difference. I have simply spent a lot of time in terraria, around 3k hours and I have the experience to do that type of challenge.
Q:What's your favorite boss?
A: Plantera, I struggled with Plant Lady for a very long time in expert and she still makes my heart POUND when Iām fighting her.
Q: how many hours have you played of Terraria?
A: I have 3899 of in game hours. I never idle with the game open.
Q: What is the hardest challenge you have done?
A: Expert hardcore yo-yo only. WOF is insanely hard.
Q:Would you hug a wyvern?
A: I once lost a hardcore character right after beating WOF to a very snuggly wyvern.

A: Ice block. You very rarely get to see or use it, but the ice rod is something of legend.
Q:Would you rather never play terraira again, or only be able to Terraria and nothing else
A: Only be able to play Terraria. It has more replayability than any game Iāve ever played in my time as a gamer.

A: I make Terraria memes myself sometimes! I look up to Demize senpai and his contributions to the meme world.

A: I do! Iām a huge fan of the yogscast and I watched them play minecraft for years. I hardly play myself however.

A: Brain of Choo Choo and Plantera. Brain can curse you at random (strongest debuff in the game imo) which has caused me endless frustration. Plantera has amazing over all design and has always been a sought after boss in speedrunning.

A: Oh wow what a question. Just moonlord attempts alone I have a thousand attempts on. God only knows how many attempts I have on hardcore.

A: Harvest Moon: Back to Nature. I fell in love with this game as a kid and it has been part of my life ever since.

A: Ox33 aviators! Since I almost always play Terraria on hardcore I tend to wear these wherever I go.

A: A friend of mine encouraged me to start running. Initially I was super against it because I had no experience, but we did some 2p runs together and things took off from there.

A: In the speedrunning community everyone respects Ningishu as the best Terraria player ever.

A: No way! If anything he would be my father! He has been around much longer than me. Iām quite new to the community really.

A: The first time I completed Expert Hardcore was an incredible feeling. I disliked the yo-yo only run if Iām honest. It is just so hard at certain points and so easy in others.

A: Badgers are known for fighting animals larger then themselves to protect their territory and their young. When I was a kid I was relentlessly bullied because of the color of my skin, the clothes I wore, and my hobbies of writing and gaming. As an adult I want to impress onto other people that you have to protect yourself even if you are afraid. I think Badgers really embody that mentality.

A: Rarely. I have a strict diet. I try to avoid sweets and starches whenever possible.
Q:Do you find yourself succesful for how long you have been doing Twitch?
A: Absolutely not. Feeling a sense of fulfillment is something that I have constantly struggled with in my life. I'm actually currently going to therapy to try to deal with that, amongst other things. I have always been hard on myself every single day of my life and I have never once felt that I have done enough for my career. I think a lot of people in my field suffer from the same issues, as this type of work brings out specific personalities like my own.
Q:What kind of stuff do you write? Stories or scripts?
A: I wrote my first novel when I was 14. I never shared it with anyone but it was a labor of two years. It was terrible, but the experience was awesome. In my adult years I have only written poems and no long form writing besides scripting for videos.
Q: What advice do you have for people wanting to try speedrunning?
A: Don't be afraid of failure! Get a friend to practice with! Be social with other speedrunners. Running is daunting at first but the payout is so worth it!

Q: Whats the most annoying mechanical boss?
A: Destroyer was recently buffed and has become a much harder boss for me in sp and in multiplayer. If you can tell me what got buffed on him I would be impressed.
Q:If you could have anything added to Terraria, what would it be?
A: Iām going to be super selfish and ask for a badger costume like pedguins costume.

A: Moonlords big fat heckin lazor beam!
Q:how did you feel when you died by jumping using a teleportation potion
A: Hmmm yeah that is a strange one. Very frustrating to happen during a speedrun when seconds count. But at least Chippy senpai noticed me!
Q:do you feel like there should be more pre-hard mode item ?
A: Iām always greedy for more items in the game. That is just the nature of us as Terrarians I think.
Q:What kind of run you want to do, but not have yet?
A: Engineer only run. No cheats or anything. I have a special route planned to beat the game from the start using no weapons at all, only traps.
Q:Whats the best treasure bag item in your opinion?
A: Eye of Choo Choo Shield. There are so many things you can do with it, including totally avoid damage thanks to the I-frames it can give you.
Q:What are your opinions towards games as a subscription-based service?
A: Games have gone through lots of evolutions. Expansion packs when I was a kid, subscription based services, and now lots of dlcs. I think they are all okay and it really depends on how everything is implemented. Is the developer really doing what they think is best for their game? That is what really matters to me, intention.
Q:If you weren't on a strict diet what would you choose: cake or pie?
A: Pie is in general my prefered.

A: Nearly four thousand!

A: I really like that actually. Without them to inspire me I donāt know that I would be able to reach the heights that Iām meant to.

A: Depends on your skill. If you are me than do warding to keep yourself alive. If you are Ningishu just take whatever damage you can get.

A:Civ 5 says my steam actually. Iām pretty big into strategy games so I have a lot of time spread out on different 4x and rts games.

A: I almost always prefer the start of the game over later on. Terraria is the most difficult when you have nothing and are trying to make something out of that. Later on when you have all the amenities things get a lot easier.

A: Most memorable thing for me personally was getting to meet everyone. I've been working with some of them for over 2 years now, so it was cool getting to finally meet them all in person. Going through all the booths with everyone is a cool experience, and I'd definitely want to do it again next year.

We are hyped to have Mah-Dry-Bread with us today for an AMA! Mah-Dry-Bread is a full time YouTuber, streamer, and speed runner who has been doing a video a day minimum since March of 2010. Also, you guys had TONS of Bread and Pizza questions, so here's the quick overview on that.
Pizza is okay but I rarely eat it. I'm big into fitness, so I try and eat healthy. No strong pizza preferences. Also I don't eat much bread.
I'm trying to get Ripped, chipped, cut, chiseled, and jacked, baby. Can't have too many carbs.

A: It's a really cool game! I don't play it often but I do run a community server for it. I used to play it a ton a few years ago.

A: Oh man, I can't answer that. I have a whole playlist on my channel called "Best Of" where it's just the funniest moments. There is so much from that playlist that qualifies.
