A: kind of a crazy story, that….. I mean I was an active member of the old TO community, and then one day out of the blue I got a steam FR from Red and we chatted for a bit. Helped them out with some stuff in my free time over the years while I was at the old job. Then headed out to GDC way back in 2015, we got to talking, and here we are. That’s the very tldr version of an insanely winding road.
Seriously, those two – and the entire team – are just amazing people and being a part of this family is equal parts exciting and humbling.

A: Personally, it has played well for me on my iPhone X…. generally, a larger screen is just gonna be better for a game this complex. That said, it plays just fine on smaller ones from what I hear.

A: Not REALLY comparable situations. The level of responsibility in a 10 person company vs in a massive multinational corporation is just not even the same thing. Not sure how to answer that really.

A. I wouldn't blow it on a single wish, gotta optimize. Maybe use it to learn how to make a better reality control system than the Infinity Gauntlet.

A. Hahahaha, its me. Definitely.
Q. What's your opinion about including mod content and language packs into the main game?
A. I think language packs sound like a reasonable idea, but I personally dislike the impact mods can have on games (from previous experiences in others) and I wouldn't want to include them officially.

A. Pizza. I don't like "most" burger toppings, so I end up holding half of it and its not worth the money.

A. When I had a Pyramid that spawned mostly outside of the desert, with its entrance at the bottom of a cave, which resulted in the grass wall treating the entire Pyramid like "one room", so the entire Pyramid was filled with grass wall. I encountered that just last month.
Q. Any and all questions about Mobile stuff
A. Unfortunately, I'm not working directly on Mobile, I work on PC stuff, so I'm not the best for asking this. The more important news would be shared through proper outlets, because its too important to just casually banter about. However, I've heard from all relevant parties that its playing phenomenally.

Hi everyone my name is William Bishop, but I commonly go by Badger on the interwebs. I started playing Terraria in 2011 alongside Jesse Cox and Total Biscuit. Played very intensely at the time than forgot about it until I started streaming on Twitch in 2015. Since then I’ve been an active part of the Terraria community, especially speed running and challenge runs.
I’ve completed expert hardcore Terraria tons of times. Including challenges like: No armor, no accessories, books only, summons only, yo-yo's only, spear only amongst others.
I was also able to beat Expert Terraria with only 1hp. (on softcore)
The fastest I’ve killed moonlord is 57 minutes. (still not as good as Ningishu)

A few personal things about myself: I grew up in Texas. I’ve always wanted to make content on Youtube but was always too afraid. I’m a huge fan of the Yogscast, and they are what originally inspired me to get out there and make things I thought people would enjoy. I joined the US Army when I was 17. Originally I intended to be primarily a youtuber, but I started one day on twitch and couldn’t stop. I actually completed my 1501 days in a row challenge recently. I streamed everyday for at least one hour a day on a live streaming service, mostly Twitch, for an average of 6 hours a day. It was an intense experience, very draining both mentally and physically, but I learned a ton!
I’m very very happy to have been invited to take part in this AMA; things like this are what make me feel really accomplished as a creator. So thank you for the opportunity from the awesome Discord team and to everyone who participates!
