For that to technically work they would have to have access to nintendo's cloud saving service on nintendo switch online.

Thus making it possible... But as it goes for being able to I dont think thats a problem on Terraria's part. That seems to be a problem with the switch in general.

Ill put this out here.

The switch has its merits to make it one of the best consoles out there but it hinders itself with inferior hardware to other things.

The PS4 has great merits to make it one of the best Looking consoles out there, but its consistency with poor quality first party games hinder it.

And Xbox is a Very good console all together but once again its first party games are rather poor at times or something goes wrong in the hardware.

Overall all game consoles has a slice of what people may look for specifically.
