Buying tons of powder from the dryad, using that to get rid of all the evil in your world. Then kill WoF, play through it like a mad lad without breaking a demon altar, kill at least one mech boss. Let the steampunker move in in a hallowed house. Buy light blue solition and the clentaminator, spray your entire or most of the world with it THEN you can break a demon altar

faster trick

get some friends that haven't joined your world yet (or just use new characters). Get a bunch of teleportation potions. Use one and check in with the dryad. If you haven't loaded in the chunk with the corruption, it will say the world is pure. Keep doing that until she says 1%. then return to the area and clean it

not really that fast, but it helps

new characters don't have the world loaded, so they don't register the map until they go to the locations

during my main playthrough id clentaminate my spreading surface biomes so they dont spread too far. The world evils offer good loot such as souls, ichor, or pixie dust and unicorn horns so i would try to control the biomes with clantaminator throughout hardmode then try to get rid of them post moonlord when you have the dcu
