I've dug about half a dozen hellevators, and am close to completing the first horizontal shaft across the map. I, of course, need to remove the background blocks, but that'll wait until all the shafts are dug and properly lined with incorruptible material, chiefly being Wood.

I'm basically digging a ton of underground tunnels and shafts to absolutely mitigate the effects of the Hallow and Corruption once the Wall of Flesh is released. This, of course, is pretty drastic in it's scope, but I made no preparaiton on my original 'Hub' World, so this time, I'm going all out.
