For people who don’t know names of Pokémon. For example, if a Pokémon spawns in a different server they are in and they don’t know the name even after using the hint command, they are able to post a photo of the spawned Pokémon in order to get help from others who know what it is. I myself have difficulty with the names of the new gen.
