By removing your old grub from your /efi/EFI folder, your old os grub can be removed by deleting that folder
im guessing its the ubuntu one lol
Do you actually have ubuntu installation on same drive? If your answer is yes, then try not to delete ubuntu folder and try removing just BOOT folder then reinstall grub with --removable command and then generate grub.cfg
If you don't have ubuntu anymore, delete everything in EFI folder and grub.cfg in /boot folder then reinstall grub with removable option and then regenerate grub.cfg.
if i just delete the ubuntu folder will it still boot
