It's bedtime for me but I gather you've done an initial install but can't get it to boot
You need to redo the mount and chroot steps from the handbook to get back into the system.
I.e. the livecd won't automatically mount them
As for your next issue, does it not boot after you get a GRUB2 menu, or...
So I follow everything from mount --types proc ... right?
/etc/resolv.conf is empty, except three comments
Did you configure networking on the live image?
I did, when installing.
Then it was probably messed up when I turned it on today
