Hello people, how are you? I wanted to ask for help about an immigrant ancestor that I have not caught any record, I only have his name after he moved to Latin America, (he came from Turkey to Chile), I know one of his last names which is Arya, He was born in 1889 approximately, mainly immigrated because he wanted a good for his family and to live in peace and tranquility but his wife decided to stay in Spain with their children (his wife happened to be surnamed Martinez)
and his children were called Arias since his father “kidnapped” all the children he had so that they became his,
Data of the one that I am looking for record:
-Countries to which he immigrated: Spain, Argentina, England (not sure) and Chile.
Name before he changed his name: ------ Salmia? Arya ------
Name after name change: Segundo Rosario Arias ------
-The only thing I know about his facial features is: His hair was half blond and half brown, his parents were Sephardic Jews, When he arrived in Chile he married a lady, (My Great Grandmother) which had 5 children approximately, Mr. Arias learned 4 languages, Turkish, Hebrew (a little), Spanish and English, When he arrived in Chile he made a business (tiendita) which was called “the Turk” where he sold Chicha, He had many friends who he taught a little English and Turkish, He cheated on his wife with 2 ladies who had 8 more children, He died when my great grandmother was 13 years old approximately and his sister took care of her until she was 31 years old, Mr. Arias came with a cousin to Chile but his cousin (stepbrother? or Tiio?) to Chile but he died for something (I don't know).
