#Realistically how long will my 3ds last?

I have the Newer 3DS XL and it’s modded. It’s in great shape barely used and I wonder how long will it really last if taken good care of. I feel like forever with the way these things run

If you take care of it, in theory all it will ever need is a new battery and new micro SD card as those are both parts with finite lifespans

But even then, you have to write to the microSD card many times to get to the point where that needs replacing

Alright that makes sense, thanks man. Could you possibly answer one more question for me?

I modded it and I was wondering how often I need to update Luma3DS to keep it healthy. it’s only 0.0.1 version behind and I rlly don’t feel like updating it

It's easy to update I'm pretty sure you can just use universal updater

But you should be keeping Luma updated
