Cleaning 3DS (shell, crevices, grease)

Hello!

I am wanting to do a deep clean of my 3DS'es. I already know how to clean the screens and there are plenty of threads on the topic. What there aren't many (or any) threads about is cleaning the plastic shell, buttons, and hard to reach cracks/crevices in the body.

There is debris in the cracks under the hinge, around the circle pad, and along the cracks where screen meets plastic. The dpad and buttons and surrounding plastic is also slightly darker/greasy from playing at the dinner table.

Any tips for cleaning off grease and debris from the plastic shell without scratchint/damaging the plastic? I'm especially interested in cleaning out the cracks.

Pictured is my 3DS XL showing sort of what I'm working with. My o3DS original size is much worse and needs a deep clean much more. 🫠

Here is my og o3ds as a much more extreme example. I got this in 2011 as a kid and it has never been cleaned. You can see a lot of debris just under the hinge and around the outer edge of the top shell.
