When the console is booted, I try to go into a game, let’s say nsmb2 just for this but there’s multiple others the same, the art of the game doesn’t appear on the top screen, I’ll attach a photo below. And if I try boot a game with this issue, this will come up (second attached). So I went to investigate and the homebrew launcher has this weird file on it (third attached). Does anyone know what to do?

Hello, does he have an SD card inserted in the console ?
He does yes
Send a pic of the physical SD card
@random mountain The SD card may be corruped if you are on Windows you can check this:
- Insert the SD card in your PC
- Open file explorer
- Right click on your SD card in the left panel
- Click on Properties
- Go to general and say me if the sd card is formatted in fat32
- After go to tools (in the properties window)
- Click on check button
- Follow the instructions on the screen
When it done share us the result
Possibility that the card is corrupted
Just do what RoNard said
If it is corrupted see if you can get a Samsung, SanDisk, Lexar or Kingston SD card, those are relatively reliable
I went into properties and it is a fat 32 sd card, I repaired it and this still keeps coming up
What are you trying to launch
Nsmb2
Backup your save then uninstall and reinstall nsmb2 then try opening it again
Will do! I’ll give results shortly
It says “this softwares data cannot be backed up”
Can you open checkpoint
I’ll check
It is open!
Any of the save files with the corrupted home art is not showing
What to do now?
This just happened as soon as I turned it on
Btw, this 2ds doesn’t have any cartridges
Does it do that without the ad card
The games aren’t there without the sd card
