I’ve wanted to get my switch up and running again. It’s been around 5 years since I last touched it and I figured id try to do something with it. But it won’t charge. My charger only gets so far in and I can get it in further with a push but I don’t feel like I should be pushing it😅.

so is it charging and I just need to wait for the light to turn on or is there something else I should do. (or is it fried?)

Try another charger

#

Is the charger sticking out when you insert it?

Is it also worth noting that I haven’t charged it in a few years

#

Does that effect the battery

the port might be dusty

I tried blowing in it

#

What else could I try

blowing in it usually isnt a good idea because it is still humid and might make it worse

#

you could try an air blower (really basic fix and it probably wont work but still, lets see what it does)

I came to the conclusion that it’s not the right charger
