So I have an old 3ds that’s broken but has my game files and stuff on the sd cards, I know I need to contact Nintendo to get my NNID onto the new console before I sign in or anything like that. But I’m not sure how to move my old data to the new 3ds without corrupting it. This is very new to me and the new 3ds comes Tomorrow, I’ve had the broken one for years

You cant transfer the data by just copy and pasting, you'll have to redownload all your old games once the nnid is transfered

Then you can hack that 3ds and your new 3ds then do a movable moveover

So the back fell off lol
Cuz the screws gave out and we had to just tape it back on
The battery was replaced maybe a year or two ago
The screws just kinda crumbled and we had to use tape

When you get the new 3ds you've ordered, fully charge it then put that battery into your broken console.
Then put the broken consoles, battery into your new 3ds and charge it, then do a system transfer

Yeah I can’t do anything to salvage it, but I’m content. Loosing my Yokai watch psych specters sucks but I’m content, thanks for your help though I’ll let u know if the ds that comes is actually good or not
