What it says in the title. I can boot up the Luma 3DS menu but none of the software appears on the home menu. I'm doing this for a friend. I've done this once before (successfully), but this time, the MSET9 command script can't be read correctly because the SD card won't make a 'Nintendo 3DS' folder on itself. Is it a bum SD card? I'm pretty sure it is, but I'm running the diagnostics now.
#Older 3DS says it has custom firmware (but doesn't, the SD Card was blank) and can't be made FAT32

If you see the luma configuration menu then the 3ds already has cfw
What brand and size is the sd card
I just did the diagnostics, it says its fine. It's a 128 Sandisk
I judt don't know why the Nintendo 3ds folder won't make itself. Or why none of the homebrew software is on the home menu
and when I open the SD card, it's completely empty
I'm running the diagnostics again I think it's wrong because there's no data on this SD card and nothing on the home screen
My friend got it second hand, so I wonder if someone had an SD card with the console that they installed the homebrew on, reset the console, and now the console appears to have homebrew data on it but there's no sd card to back it up
Send a picture of the sd card properties
do you mean this?
No, are you using windows
No I’m using Mac. You want to see the files on it?
I can show you its data on disk utility
No, the sd cards filesystem
Should be able to check in disk utility
I’m just going to start dmming you because I don’t wanna dox myself accidentally
You can dm images if you're concerned about that but I will still respond here as we dont allow dm help
What test did you use
The sd card is actually fat32, by the way
And it's supposed to be, right?
Yes
I used the F3XSwift
Yeah I have the SD card on me but not the 3DS, so I've been tinkering with it and I made sure to change it to be MS-DOS
Maybe? I'll check and get back to you
I have two, one is bad and I remember that but the other one should be okay, I’ll test both of them. when you say the slot, what do you mean?
The sd card slot on your 3ds
OHHH well I dont have the 3DS with me now, but I can check on Monday. My friend has it.
