Hey, I have two copies of Pokémon Platinum, and I’ve downloaded them digitally on my 3DS so I can enhance the games for a bit more comfort while playing. However, I’ve run into the following problem: I can’t add the save file from the second copy to PKSM. The program does detect the save file on my SD card and seems to confirm when I add it, but every time I go back into PKSM, I only see one save file.
Does anyone know why this happens and what I can do about it?

Pksm can edit game saves directly AND backups of saves, so if you create a backup of each game using a backup manager (with unique names), maybe you can then edit those saves and use the backup manager to restore your edited saves

what i did was just pop the cartridge in my console and dumped the .sav file from each one with gm9 and put them in the same folder where the .nds game is
basically you just want it to look something like this in one folder

If there is a GAME_TITLE_AJDG_00.trim.nds, go for that one
The .trim version is exactly the same but with a smaller filesize
Because of the way cartridges work
Cartridges come in specific sizes, so if you have a 300mb game on a 500mb cartridge, that cartridge will have about 200mb of nothing but zeros
The version without .trim has all the extra zeros
The .trim version does not
