doesn’t seem to be working after using the latest version of boot9strap firmware, everything loads but as soon as I input the arrow code, after the first arrow it shows this screen. It’s a 64gb microsd with adapter from amazon. I’ve retried a few times already.

https://github.com/zoogie/MSET9/files/12879750/G.zip download this build of OpenFirmInstaller, and extract it to the root of the SD, replacing the already present SafeB9S.bin (if not doing MSET9, rename it to SafeB9SInstaller.bin and delete the one that already exists)
Then copy boot9strap.firm and boot9strap.firm.sha from the boot9strap folder to a new folder called ofi. The ofi folder should be on the root, not inside any other folders

what do you mean by “if not doing MSET9”? because that’s what I was originally doing I believe, MSET9-v2.1 is the file I got these from and then I added the few extra like “cias, gm9, 3ds”…

Well then just copy it and don't rename it
Methods other than MSET9 look for SafeB9SInstaller.bin, and I was confused as you seemed to have otherapp.bin and arm9loaderhax.bin for whatever reason

I wasnt sure if they were needed so I added them just in case, but I will try in the morning and see what happens. But all I’d do is just replace the bin file, then add in the new “ofi” folder on the root? (I don’t delete anything?)

You can use your console like normal except for when you need to use the Select button. It is not bricked, otherwise, the console wouldn't have been able to power on.
I'm not sure how much clearer this can get

I’m sorry, was just a bit confused as to why it would affect me for the “select” button not working… cuz it seemed fine but I will see about if I can get it fixed tho.. but then, if it’s considered modded, am I able to use the modded stuff like the cias/menus or not really until I fix this issue first? (because I pretty much stopped at section 3, since it froze and I turned on holding L, I still haven’t removed the injected file/mset9 from section 4 of the guide)

Okay, I just want to make sure I do it right this time. It felt a lot easier and smoother when I tried it in a normal 3ds compared to this LL version giving me random problems. But just to be sure, I continue on this step by replacing the file then trying to access the Luma config again? (hold L and press power) (since it froze the first time, and then once I do, I save the setting if I can) then continue to section 4 and then finalize?

also I did a test on the select button by opening the web browser to try on, and it works perfectly fine… I’m not sure what exactly would be wrong then?? my up/down/left/right work fine too
