#saving old content on modded 3DS?

yes, stock titles still work, and if you are changing SD cards you just need to format the new card before moving everything over
my plan was to create a backup on my PC and move it over after the card was formatted. It needs to be formatted in fat32 right?
yeah that works, and yes fat32 - follow this guide
thank you :D. Should I move the content onto the new microsd before or after putting the homebrew content on?
you should be copying everything from the old card onto the new one at the same time
doesn't matter whether pre-or-post-mod, but probably smarter to do it before
so back it up, copy it to the new card, and then begin installing new firmware. sorry for all the questions, I'm just terrified of messing something up and corrupting my data or bricking my console. thanks again.
yep exactly that
don't delete anything from the old card until you know everything is copied, then you won't need to worry about losing everything
I'm not planning on deleting anything from the old card. I just wanted to move it to a card that has more space.
once everything is moved you're safe to repurpose the old card if you want to
thank you very much
should I copy everything on the old micro SD or just the folder titled "nintendo 3ds?"
