Just got an Old 3DS XL, it came pre-modded, I factory reset it through the system settings then I upgraded Luma3DS formatting the SD card to FAT32 and copying the newest files. The Luma3DS menu loads but after that it boots into the regular 3DS home menu without any different software. It's also my first Nintendo console so pls be patient, I'm still getting used to it

Next time don’t factory reset the 3ds unless you need to.. resetting deletes the homebrew apps etc
