home screen wiped after sysnand restore

hello, i rehacked my 3ds lately (wiped cfw and rehacked it, in the process i lost my games bcs of the factory reset) and i use a sysnand backup to restore my things (https://3ds.hacks.guide/godmode9-usage.html#restoring-a-nand-backup)
and everything is gone from my homescreen, including my homebrew apps. theyre missing from software management as well. what do i do?
this sysnand file happened BEFORE i removed and reinstalled cfw, so all my game data should still be in there.

Why did you uninstall cfw

The reason all your software is gone is because its encrypted

Usually your 3ds has the encryption key to decrypt it and use all that data

But when you factory reset you randomise that encryption key again, so that original data is unusable by the 3ds

If you really need that data back, do a movable moveover

If they formatted (changes msed) but restored the backup (msed restored) then that shouldn't be the issue

before both times. i was told the SD card before the factory reset was corrupted, so i used a differed one instead

both were formatted to FAT32 before anything else

i assume so. @dusk python helped me yesterday and they came to the conclusion that it was corrupted (because some games corrupted and after i deleted them, i lost some game data)

so i removed CFW (which i now know was wrong) and wiped my 3ds

rehacked it with a new SD card

If your data is corrupted and on a different SD card then faketik won't do anything

Your old data won't show up on your new SD card if you didn't copy it over

data on NAND is separate from data stored on your SD card

nand and SD data is separate, your nand will be the same regardless of what SD card you used

if @dusk python says that your SD card is corrupted it's probably corrupted, you'll have to reinstall whatever games you had from the eShop

okay yeah it was the 818 ID0 with the game data in it. the extdata for the 818 file is 300 MBs

the extdata for the 9de is >100 MBs

so i assume i need to redo the nand files? 😭

i just figured out the 9de ID0 is the NEW ID0, and the 818 is actually the old one. that means the nand was correct but when restoring the ID0 file in my 3ds i didnt put in the correct file or something. right now my thought process is to restore the old nand again, and use the original 818 file with the old data in it

no, but i think its because i used the wrong 818 file. i've tried this backup troubleshooting thing multiple times and as a result created multiple 818 ID0 files

i believe i copied down the wrong one

okay i did this and it did the "creating home management information..." and nothing pops up in the home menu. there was nothing in the software settings. i look at the SD card and this is what pops up

the 818 is still the true data, but the 852 is the one with the game saves in it

i think im screwed. neither of the nand restores have an 852 ID0 as their true ID0

is there any way to change my true ID0 without having a nand restore for it?
