#ErrDisp error on seemingly random titles

Old 3ds with Luma v10.0.1.

When starting some titles I get a generic ErrDisp error (image attached). Its very arbitrary what triggers it or not, FBI, ftpd and castlevania trigger it, while anemone and most other games don't.

If I check the SD card from a computer windows seems to think there is 280 gb worth of data on it despise it being a 64 gb SD card. That tells me the SD is corrupted it so I bought another one, but I still get the same error, my best current guess is that the SD card got corrupted with its files, but I have no idea how to go about fixing it, if that is even actually the problem.

On the new card windows does seem to recognize the size of the files correctly.
Since FBI triggers the error too I don't know how to test if I can just reinstall a title to see if it would fix it.

Thanks for the help.

Okay. I wasnt sure if whatever is going on would have made updating a bad idea

#

now I get an ErrDisp that says the sd card was removed.

also send a pic of the sd card you’re using

I don't even have a screwdriver that fits so I did the best cleaning I could with alcohol and an ir duster

#

I will check for corruption

Test finished without errors

#

I am guessing my options now are opening to see if I can clean it better, and if not replace the whole card slot

and just to double check, you tried with a different sd card and had the same issue?

I tried the one that had been in the console for years, and a new one bought yesterday

#

copy pasted the files from one into the other

#

I dont know if that may be an issue

Backup the files to your pc, delete them from the new sd card, then redownload everything

#

Also do finalising setup at the bottom of the page

#

Then see if any apps crash

#

If they do, send a picture of the error, even if it looks the same as before

I did and everything seems to be working fine. I can open everything installed from the setup at least

#

thanks a lot 🙏

#

I guess the files did get corrupted with the sd card

#

I will continue using it and if I am unlucky and the problem is not actually gone I will make an update here
