I was playing Ocarina of Time 3D last night, and my modded New 3DS XL was working perfectly fine. I closed it to go to sleep for the night, set it on my nightstand and came back to it tonight. It died while I was at work, so I charged it up a little bit, and my Y button stopped working.
I looked up videos on how to fix it, I cleaned the contacts for the buttons a few different times, even installed the sticker thing upside down so the contact for A was under Y, just to see if it would help (I cleaned the contacts on the mother board AND the sticker with iso and a Qtip)
Any ideas? Advice? It’s not like I dropped it or anything.
