A long long time ago in September I got m&l dream team and I accidentally kicked something small straight into the cartridge slot (with the game in) and it caused it to start doing this (I don't know if at that exact moment but I left the game card in there for a while and stopped using it for the rest of the day). The games used to get stuck maybe but not at all any more. It does not make this noise for any card unless when I use dream team. It's the smallest bit more difficult to push down and seems to pop out slower so I'm just wondering if anyone knows what is causing this. Also my game cards recently have started to not register sometimes too I have to take it out a couple times and retry sometimes almost five times (rarely) and I've noticed some scratches on the game data parts of the cartridges which I only just noticed now but I never really looked at them so I'm not sure if the slot caused that and or that it's even at all related. But please reply if you have any idea what this could be!! (I should add too that after putting dream team in it causes the next game cartridge to go in to go in like this but after that it's back to normal so I have no clue)

thats the normal sound it makes
it sounds sort of like it but its definitley not i have a new nintendo 3ds and its doesnt make that sound with other cartridges
This is what it usually sounds like
yea mines a couple years younger than that and its got that crunch sound as well
as long as it isnt affecting your consoles ability to read game cards it should be alright
okay thanks!
I was gonna say the same thing, if anything try a little bit of compressed air to help free it if anything is in
Ok thanks!!
