I'm looking to purchase a New 3DS XL with a yellowed bottom screen. But when I went on AliExpress to search for a new bottom screen, I realized that none of the listings mentioned "IPS" or "TN". Is there some other phrase I should be looking for or something?

there is no indication that a screen is IPS or TN other than by viewing it yourself and observing it from an extreme angle to identify whether or not the screen is IPS or TN. most sellers aren’t even aware of the screen type so it’s hard to search for this, and the people who do will typically price up the model because they know there is people who seek out IPS screens. you could ask the seller to take a picture from the side with the screen on and you can attempt to determine yourself if it looks like an IPS screen based on if the screen looks clear and not washed out from the very side.
