Hey, I have a question. So, I'm going to buy a New 2DS XL and I would like to know if I can transfer everything from my 2DS to my 2DS XL after modding it. Like, I mod the 2DS XL, then transfer the files from the 2DS to the SD card of the 2DS XL. Will it work?

that’s a tutorial for cloning your data which is generally not recommended. a regular system transfer is safer and you do this by modding both consoles first, then performing a “PC-based transfer”, and running faketik at the end to restore any homebrew apps if you had any on the 2ds. https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/14169 it’s really simple
a system transfer will factory reset the 2ds, because your data is transferred to the new one so just be aware
