Hello so in a couple days i have a hangout with a friend and we wanted to play some 3ds games togethere. But I am the only one with a 3ds. So i was wondering if it was posible for her to get an emulator and to connect to my 3ds or I connect to her emulator?

3DS emulators simulate local multiplayer, so they don’t actually have the same connectivity as with a 3DS’s local connection. In other words, it’s not possible to do it that way.

They need to own a 3ds and the games to emulate them

#

Pc emulator can't connect to a real 3ds

#

They need to buy a 3ds and the game to play with you

No help for Citra anymore, it's dead

#

They need a 3ds to play the games @cosmic tide

#

And to use an emulator, they need a 3ds and the games. You don't emulate games you don't own

#

Pretendo requires a console unique ID, so they'd have to copy their 3ds data to use pretendo. Dupe your system and it's online twice and pretendo bans it

#

Thus they need a 3ds

Multiplayer with handhelds requires that each player have the handheld

And at least one copy of the game, depends on if it does download play
