Hi there, I'm struggling with Streetpass Mii Plaza on my Japan Region 3DS
I originally thought it simple to be able to uninstall the stock version and install the North American region version but it crashed (even with game patching on) anytime I tried to boot it.
I never thought to back up the original CIA of SPMP and I can't find it anywhere online (ik ik piracy bad but i have no other choice, i've tried the system update restore system apps method and that didnt work)
worse yet, i can't even try the NA version again because while FBI says it installs, it doesn't show in the titles list but its ticket does in the ticket list
any help on this matter would be appreciated

the normal entry for the J region one should be a bunch of kanji with the word Mii in the middle and then some more Kanji
kinda like the Mii Plaza but with more in front

i think what put me off was the magnet links so ig yeah
my plan was to restore an old NAND backup from when i first got the thing, and yoink the J cia. then restore current and install the cia then update and tada but the oldest working backup i have is one with the NA version. how ironic.

so we've got a screwed over NAND title list, no NAND backup, and you can't do ctrtransfer because you don't like torrent clients

Updates are needed in quite a few games to fix bugs, or play online multiplayer
Game breaking bugs exist on several cartridge games
They tell you what to do after, which is pretty much sign in your local nnid and redownload anything you bought on it
