my n3ds xl will only power on while connected to ac. The battery is tested and working. The ds was working the night before and now suddenly it doesn’t feel like it.

replace the battery, if it does not work, you might have a rare kiosk 3ds.

Kiosk 3ds are the only ones that can power on without a battery

A consumer 3ds won't turn on with just a charger cable. Battery must be in the circuit
