Im doing a 3ds xl hinge repair and no matter what the hinge just won’t stay in place inside the lock it just pops out

i dont know much about 3ds hinges, but you can check if you got the right type of hinge by taking out the other one and putting them side by side

actually i may be wrong about that as in the 3ds xl only has one hinge. In that case check with the broken hinge unless its destroyed beyond recognition.

The broken hinge is bent out but they look pretty much identical

Im not sure what it is ive tried a million times to push it in tons of different angles

this may sound stupid but maybe apply more pressure

i mean, the 3ds xl hinge is notorious for being hard to take out
