Hey I bought a refurbished new 3ds xl and it works perfectly except for this but as I use it almost exclusively for monster hunter this is a big issue, does anyone know a fix

Ive seen people using psp cap mods , not sure if that would fix my issue though

this is actually completely normal, its just the result of the horrible designing of the c stick, the fix to this is replacing it with either a psp 1000 cap or a think pad cap

ive tried both, i think the thinkpad nub is better, about the same size and its a more snug fit

Also does your n3dsxl top screen move slightly left and right

I’m scared it’s because it was dropped because there’s a little bit of plastic that’s damaged from falling I imagine

Little bit disappointed this is on the most expensive “perfect” state model but oh well
