to do this you would need to by a pokeball shell, as repair shops wont have these on hand, if you do get one it would be hard to find a repair shop that would repair/mod a 3ds as most only do repairs on modern day consoles, if you do find one, they may not touch it at all, because the 2ds xl is extremly hard to repair let alone a shell swap
