How do I fix a scratched 3ds

I bought an used original white 3ds and the coverplates came full of scratches and yellow stains. I was wondering if there's any way to fix this, like sanding it or something. The scratches are all surface level

to remove yellowers you need chemicals and UV. if your scratches are deep, then you can't to do really much. thats why 3DS in good are rare. :)
