How do I remove a stripped screw? | /r/3DS | Page 1

Hello, this isnt really 3ds related however it is about a Dsi xl and both use similar sized screws. I stripped one of the screws while trying to remove to back cover and using the rubber band trick didn't work. Does anyone know of a way to fix this?

WD40 might work.. i’ve gotten a stripped screw out with that but it’s tricky with tiny screws. don’t spray too much because it can damage the electronics inside of it. i suggest using a q tip

If you have a spare screw and a drill you can just drill out the screw
