3DS not charging

I haven’t been able to get my launch model 3ds to charge in over a month now. I plug it in and no lights whatsoever. Can’t tell if it’s the charging port, the cable, or the battery. The port is pretty bent from previous owner, but had been working fine up until now. My current plan is to get a charge dock and new cable, then a battery if that doesn’t work. Any other ideas?

I’ve tried bending it back, and the cable fits snugly, but still nothing

Now that I look at it, the little pins aren’t sticking out at all. I had just thought they were meant to be like that

Bending the pins back didn’t help, I think I’ll try getting a dock

UPDATE dock is here, still no charging. I think my cable just snapped internally.

@red crown dock was a good call though. Gives a nice place to set it and makes it more comfortable to hold.
