replacement 3ds xl ribbon cable connector

I had accidentally broken a 3ds ribbon cable connector but I found a video (video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vQQOG1hmxA&t=5s) on how to replace the latch with another one. I already asked this question before but I was told that I needed to solder and I was given this replacement part instead https://www.ebay.com/itm/400448238168?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=9jI6x3JwTu-&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=twtb2jjjtbs&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY. I tried to take the latch part of the replacement and put it onto the cable connector on my 3ds xl but that didn't work so I was wondering if anybody knew where I could find an exact replacement. It was pretty easy to take the latch on and off so I want to do that instead of soldering. The replacement parts that I already have from the ebay seller do work on the cable but I have never soldered before and don't have a soldering iron so I very much prefer to just replace the latch instead of the entire connector. I put an image of the broken part.

it isn't I already ordered it and it arrived

I took off the latch on the replacement and tried to fit it onto the connector already on the 3ds and it didn't work

Strange, the ZIF connecter should be the same across all the models

I bought something like this and it fit fine. I'll see if i can find it in my purchase history

I think you need to buy a whole connector to get the top part

Yeah I know but the problem is that I cannot find a connector with a compatible zif connector

and I was wondering where I could find one

a link would be pretty helpful because all my searches just gave me other connectors or ribbon cables

I bought this and worked on my 2DS XL. All ZIF connecters should be the same

the holes where the gold pins should go through on my replacements are smaller than the one that should work so I am not sure if all of them are universal

and the ebay seller stated that it is for the ds's and not 3ds's so idk

but anyway thanks I'll let you know if it works
