I NEED URGENT HELP.
I use a 128gb SanDisk SDXC ultra microSD card,
I formatted it properly back then and it worked and had continued to work great for years. (i was upgrading so I could buy n' play Persona Q2)
**But now the microSD card makes my 3ds xl start-up time take too too long and makes my themes n digital games n stickers disappear and makes the home menu freeze n unfreeze ** when I move around the home menu
it states:
**"Cannot display the software on the microSD card. The microSD card could not be accessed" **

To my knowledge nothing looks damage at all and I know its the microSD causing issues as I tried putting it into another 3ds and it did the same loading time and message.

I have done a system update to the latest it can be.
I am currently trying to transfer all the 3ds xl data to my pc but my microSD card reader I use wont recognise the SDXC microSD card so I need a solution to fix that also.

I was only just playing some physical copies of some old ds games (Tamagotchi corner shop 1 n 2) I bought today and everything was fine until I turned my 3ds xl off and back on and now it wont go back to normal.

Please give me as much info as you can please I need a lot of help. as I dont want to lose anything.
Thank you.

well, sounds like corrupted/broken sd card to me
you can try different adapter or data rescue software
if both doesn't work, it's probably gone, unless pay a lot for data rescue company is an option to you

I think I'm going to down grade to a 64gb microSD or 32gb
That's compatible
Then format that and replace the 128gb one
And I should be able to redownload software from the eshop
