How to avoid marks on top screen?

I've been trying to keep the top screen of my n3ds scuff-free using a microfiber cloth, but at this point I'm kinda tired of using it. Are there any alternatives to this that I could use to keep the top screen from being too close to the bottom plastic(like maybe slightly taller rubber stoppers for the top screen)

I had a glass protector but that one was too thick so

Had to remove it

Idk I’ve personally never used ones but I’ve seen cheap ones on Amazon
