3DS Purchasing Help for a First Time Buyer

Hi, I’m Dariya and I’m interested in buying a 3DS.

(Also it’s modded so I don’t know how that really works.)

I was looking at eStarland but they are out of stock, plus it is $200 at least and I do not want to pay that much for my console.

I have never purchased electronics used before nor have I used eBay. I want to do my research before purchasing.

Also, GameXChange isn’t in my area.

Can you guys give me some experiences about purchasing your 3DS on eBay? Also can you give me some good tips for buying a 3DS on eBay? Should I use eBay at all? Thanks.

It may seem silly to post this but yea, I thought I’d ask experts.

If you use paypal when buying, you can get your money back if the seller was dishonest.

As to being modded. It doesn't change anything obvious..home menu is still kept like stock and 3ds works like stock. It actually has more value hacked.

Only advice I can give..is make sure you know whether you want an Old 3ds model or a new 3ds model. There are some exclusives to the new 3ds model and the 3d functions better.

(2ds is the same as a 3ds, without 3d screens.. so old 2ds = old 3ds and new 2ds = new 3ds.)

I've had good experiences buying with ebay. If your willing to wait and bid you can get good deals.

I recommend the old 2ds for comfort of you're planning on playing for longer periods.

The n3ds is the best if you want to use the 3d effects.

Also the non xl n3ds has faceplates you can swap.
