so I fucked up while fixing a 2ds xl and forgot to remove the micro sd card and now it’s nearly snapping half and won’t read anymore. Is there any salvageable data on the console itself I could use to get some things back?

If so, no, most data are stored on it, so if it's gone, so is your data
