No lights without AC Adapter, won't boot up even with the AC. | /r/3DS | Page 1

I've posted a similar question in the general channel earlier today but quickly deleted due to it not fitting there. After reading the FAQ i don't think this was adressed. I cannot bootup my New3ds. When i have both the battery and SD cart inserted, no lights appear after pressing the power button. When i have it plugged, the lights do appear, but the screen stays black and no sounds can be heard, but the lights are still there. When i unplug the system, all lights disappear even though i have the sd card and the battery inside. Does anybody have an idea for why this is happening and how it could be fixed. If this is due to the Luma issue adressed in the 4th point of the FAQ then I am sorry for all the trouble, but i want to be sure.
