New 3ds top screen broken/I need advice

Hey everyone! This might get a little long so bear with me lol.
So I was going to make a post on Reddit but since the blackout is going on I came over here for support/advice, I bought a new 3ds from Japan through a proxy service and needless to say the top screen isn’t perfect but it’s functional. It was priced at $74 (not including proxy fees and shipping) and I was on a budget & kinda desperate to get one (long story but it was a little impulsive) I’m now not sure if it was worth it 🥲 the vertical line didn’t look at all noticeable in photos but when it got here I really saw it, and the yellowing isn’t too awful but it’s there. (I also saw one post on jp Mercari for $61 in great condition w/ no yellowing and box like a day ago, felt like a punch to my gut 😭)

Needless to say I’m going to have to get it replaced eventually, so in that case what would you guys recommend me to do? If I find someone to repair would it be expensive? should I just save up and buy another from Japan in better condition? And in the meantime, any advice on what to do?

I basically got the same problem, I just have the yellowing.

I tried contacting nintendo to fix it but they don't do it in my country. I think it's better to search for a reputable website that replaces screens

Sadly Nintendo doesn’t fix that model of 3ds
