New 2DS XL won't turn on

It shows quite literally no sign of life except showing a light when it turns on and charging.

they could have hacked it. if you hold select WHILE powering on the 3ds, do you see anything?

When you turn it it on does it only do blue light and nothing else?

and try to boot

Maybe it's something with the ribbon cable is loose? You said it had went through physical damage?
