Hi, I’ve been wanting to get a DS again for a while but I’ve just never committed to it, mostly because the prices seem really high (in Aus). I’m looking at this one right now and it’s about $300 AUD, should I go for this? (It’s the best price on eBay for the same colour and model that I want)

On eBay right now if I search for a New 3DS the cheapest it starts at is just under $300 (not counting any that are under auction)
So idk maybe that’s just what they are in Australia

It may just be because that’s the most expensive system, the prices of 3ds are always fluctuating. If you want something cheaper I’d recommend the 2ds xl, all the same hardware and the large screen just without the 3d. If you wanna get the new 3ds xl it’s your preference. If you wait I can pretty much guarantee that there will be a cheaper sale on it in the future but there’s no way of saying how long it will take.

Yeah because it’s the xl I wouldn’t expect it to be too cheap but 300 compared to the 250 in Canada isn’t too bad

I’m not a big fan of the colour schemes tho honestly
I prefer just the plain black on the New 3DS and the coloured buttons

You can always get a custom wrap like I did if you don’t like the colors

300 is sounding much but i mean in Euros that would be 183 Euro, and most 3DS sell in Europe mostly for around 160-250 you may have luck and get more deeper than 160 (just Euro perspective) but aslong as it has no scratches or anything i think you should be fine with that if there is no other way to get it cheaper

I bought a New 3DS XL off of eBay for $325 AUD in good condition soooo it must just be the Australian consoles that cost slightly more than other regions consoles
