Hey! So I have a 3DS XL that is currently modded. It is my main console and have played it for years. As of a week ago I've purchased a New (branded) 3DS XL. I'm wondering how I can transfer all my modded and not modded data onto the New 3DS XL. Please help me on this as I don't want to lose data during any type of transfer. I've already prepared a MicroSD card for the New system formatted as Fat32. Hope I can get somewhere and be ready before I receive the New 3DS as I'm still waiting on it's arrival.

I would suggest setting up homebrew and custom firmware on the New 3DS first, it will make restoring homebrew stuff much easier
after the transfer, non-legit titles (anything that did not come from the eShop) will disappear from the HOME Menu but *are not deleted*, you can make them re-appear with faketik

(there is a second guide for "Target does not have CFW" but it's for using a different method which is usually slower and not updated for New 3DS, so i recommend it this way instead)
