Japanese DS games on European 3DS

I found a seller for spirit tracks and Phantom hourglass, but they are from Japan. Will these games work on my European 3DS? And if so will it be in Japanese or English?

@livid glen u will need to homebrew your 3ds with luma3ds which breaks region lock if u havent already

I’ve found many people saying that as long as games aren’t for the dsi then it’s fine. So I don’t really know what to do?

even if they play, they will be in japanese language. Most games are not multi language

You’re right. HDholo is incorrect as original DS games are not region locked in the first place but taygus brings a good point, not many DS games have multi language
