what do l need to do? do l need to buy 2 3Ds what should l do to my 3Ds before the shut down? l have 100 games from my childhood just want to made sure l don't lose my games in the future

if you have digital purchases on the eShop you can re-download them even after March 2023

the ability to redownload will probably be kept for a long time (the DSi shop is still up for redownloads nearly 6 years after closure)
