I've recieved an update on a game like today and since I region swapped, I don't have access to the e-Shop nor Nintendo Network. How do I update a game without using e-Shop? Any particular steps I have to do?

You must use eshop for updates, hence the warning on the region change page

Else you need a local system to provide the update

No, updates come from eshop
