I feel as a player that this is a mistake unless it is used on high populated servers..... on low populated servers that witch is all of them right now.
- on a high pop server - removing it would take a away lagg and such and mkae it hard to get items but there are more poeple so you know there are more players playing
- on a low pop server - removing the old way base frist then the items would slowly decay away EVEN IF YOUR the only one playing all month or longer it MAKES IT LOOK like there were REMANTS of other players on the server that once was there... THERFORE if your playing on a server and no one else is on anymore the server looking like there were poeple there... THEREFORE your not feeling likke your playing along on a dead server by your self for a bit.... or as a new player BRAND new to the game even though the game is not active.... that new player would see other pople builds decaying and feel like other poeple will return so they get into the game and contune building...... other players willl see a person on the server and may join as welll becuase of this it would promote server like and members coming back.
-Before the 30 days are up like day 25 it would be kool if the game sent you a notice so save your base this would despawning, ALSO encourging older players to come back and save thier bases - Also promoting server population.
-As you can see from the picture i have only played a little but ive played enough so see some ideas so help server population and make the game more alive with poeple
-But if i had review to put on here alll the other things and changes, also I am enjoying the added items consistenly making the game more indepth.
